Can you spot what I've been working on?.. No? Have a closer look...
Yup, it sure is!
It's a Hide-a-Book (sorta like a Hide-a-key) I've been wanting to make one of these FOREVER! I know I kinda give it away with the title and the author but I just couldn't resist! I even got a little snicker out of hubs when I showed it to him. :)
It's awesome for hiding all kinda of little trinkets and things. I just put a few random items in it just to show you what it looks like inside. Pretty cool right? And all I did was paint it! The actual "book" comes pre-made from Hobby Lobby (I totally love that store) and they sell them for a whopping $1.99! You all know by now, how I cant resist a cheap craft lol! They have all sizes, from this size up to super huge (Like War & Peace HUGE lol!) but seeing how my bookshelf is small I opted for the little one. Now only if I could make a lever for the book case so that it pulls back into the wall and leads me down a staircase into my bat cave it would be perfect! ;)
