Yesterday our base (Keesler AFB) and our Outdoor Rec. Center sponsored an awesome little geocaching hunt. The prize for the first person who finds the final clue box received a weekend voucher for a pontoon boat! Sadly we didn't win first prize but we did get a little prize from the box and most importantly we had fun just going out and "hunting for treasure!" oh so the munchkin likes to call it. Have any of you ever been geocaching before? I've done Letterboxing before and few geocaching, but this was the first time we did it as a family :)

The 25 Days of Christmas Challenge: Day 16
What is your favorite outdoor Christmas activity?
That's easy to answer yet impossible to do because of where I live now. The answer is... play in the snow! Snow is so awesome to me... maybe its because I grew up in Florida for most of my life but I absolutely love it! I have yet to experience being snowed in or having snow piled up past the roof but I have driven in it, played in it, walked in it, made a snow angle and a snow man, licked it and tasted it, had a snowball fight, made a snow fort, skied and snowboarded in it! And the majority of these things were done while we were stationed at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was also during the great blizzard of 2007. LOL! It probably wasn't a blizzard at all but it was much more snow than this Florida girl has ever seen in her life so hence the name. ;) Here's a few pics of me having a great time in it.
My first snow angel.
The munchkin at 11 months old and her first time ever seeing snow. Didn't last but 5 minutes, because it was soooo cold! LOL
In the weeks leading up to the great blizzard... the front our front yard on base and the rest of the street.
