Summer Time Fun Time: At Volcano Island Water Park

Yesterday was our first time going to the local water park. It was down right AWESOME! The kiddo had a BLAST hanging out, swimming, zipping down the water slides. It was perfect weather and altogether great time! We loved it so much that we bought season passes to all 5 connecting water parks (each one has a different theme) so we can hit them up each weekend this summer! This means I will be rocking a perfect tan while on the family cruise that hubs and our parents have planned in August. Here's some of the pics from our day...

Greetings from NoVA!

Greetings everyone from Northern Virginia!!! Or how the locals like to call it... NoVA!!! We are officially moved and currently staying at an extended stay hotel in Sterling, it's only about 15 minutes to hubby's work and about 15 minutes to the kiddos new school. We ended up going to the kiddos new school yesterday to get a jump start on registering her. We are now waiting on her records to come from Mississippi and getting her cleared with her TB test, which will get checked tomorrow.

Hubby and I went today to the local chevy dealership and he bought himself a chevy volt! It's going to be great on the commute! He's pretty happy with it, it comes with XM radio, power and heated seats, on star for 3 years and they are installing the back up camera on Tuesday!

We are still working with our lender and getting all the fine details on the house worked out but we should be (hopefully) closing on our dream house around May 10th... ***fingers crossed!!!*** I'll keep you all updated as best as I can when I get more information but just wanted to let you all know that we are here and happy to be... finally!!!
